Our Guide to All the Restaurants and Food on Carnival Jubilee

One of the most-impressive things about Carnival Cruise Line is the wonderful variety of food you can get on the ships while enjoying your vacation at sea. When considering the value for your cruise fare and the substantial variety of cuisine styles, this is the best large cruise line for food.

And Carnival’s new cruise ship Carnival Jubilee features the best batch of food yet.

I have cruised twice on Jubilee and still haven’t had a chance to savor all the ship has to offer when it comes to restaurants and dining. The 5,300-passenger Carnival Jubilee has a nice mix of specialty dining options and casual eateries, as well as main dining rooms and a big buffet that cruisers will love.

Here is our look at all the places you can eat on Carnival Jubilee (with menus) to get you excited for your time onboard.

Find out 16 Free Things to do on Carnival Jubilee.

1. Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse

Guy's Pig and Anchor on Carnival Jubilee

This big restaurant is one of two eateries onboard Carnival Jubilee that highlight the line’s partnership with celebrity chef Guy Fieri. Guy’s Pig & Anchor sits in the Summer Landing zone on the ship — one of six distinct neighborhoods on Carnival’s Excel Class vessels (Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Celebration and Carnival Mardi Gras as of 2024).

Pig & Anchor is a huge restaurant and craft brewery space that is the de facto sports bar on Carnival Jubilee. There are plenty of tables and booths plus TVs showing the games. You will also come here for trivia sessions and live music.

Cruisers can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here for no added fee. The breakfast buffet offers eggs, bacon, ham, fruit, toast, juices and many of the items you will find in the Lido Marketplace Buffet. But it’s not as busy at Pig & Anchor.

This place also offers an excellent sea day barbecue, with brisket, sausage, chicken, pulled pork and sides available. You wait in line to get it right as it’s cooked at the outdoor smokers. At dinner, you get table service and pick from a set menu, picking three meats and two sides plus a dessert. You also can select a smoked salmon meal or a pulled pork sandwich. I like to add a rack of ribs (upcharge), and there also is a cut of steak available for an added fee.

For craft beer lovers, the best part of eating lunch or dinner here is that the restaurant is attached to the ship’s onboard craft brewery. Carnival brews its very own Parched Pig lineup of beers right onboard Carnival Jubilee. Brewery tours are available (for fee) during the cruise.

2. Guy’s Burger Joint

Guy's Burger Joint on Carnival Jubilee

The lines are long all day, especially on sea days, for this tasty grub (no added fee). You can build your own burger or choose some of the combos that Guy created, such as the Chilius Maximus, a chili burger, or Pig Patty, a burger made out of crispy bacon.

There also is a toppings bar with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and chili, and they fill your plate with fries if you like, too.

3. BlueIguana Cantina

BlueIguana Cantina on Carnival Jubilee

This is a longtime favorite Mexican eatery onboard Carnival ships. BlueIguana Cantina is located on the Lido pool deck area, and you can get breakfast burritos and tacos during breakfast. All items are included in your cruise fare.

This is my favorite spot to get a healthy meal, with hand-crafted burritos and tacos, served on wheat or flour wraps with veggies, guacamole and salsas. Choose chicken, fish or pork tacos and chicken, beef or shrimp burritos.

4. Beach Buns

Beach Buns deli on Carnival Jubilee

This is a deli located in The Shores zone inside on Deck 8, and the eatery serves sandwiches and hot dogs. You can get all kinds of stuff here like a grilled cheese sandwich and soup of the day, chili, cookies, brownies and salads.

The sandwich board features tuna, ham and cheese, barbecue pulled pork, turkey and caprese sandwiches, a meatball sub and sausages and hot dogs served on a variety of rolls with different toppings choices.

I found there to be consistently long lines here, so it can take a long time to get your goodies.

5. Coastal Slice

Coastal Slice pizza on Carnival Jubilee

This is the pizza place on Carnival Jubilee, and it’s located right next to Beach Buns. The cafeteria-style area has seating indoors and out and a self-serve drinks and coffee station.

Coastal Slice typically is open from around 9 a.m. to 4 a.m., so this is the place to grab a snack if you’re staying up late or playing long sessions at the casino.

There are five kinds of pizza available for no extra charge. Choose from pepperoni, Margherita, Tex-Mex, quattro formaggi and barbecue chicken. Plus, there are two premium varieties. You can order a whole teriyaki chicken or Korean steak barbecue pie for $6.

6. Shaq’s Big Chicken

Shaq's Big Chicken on Carnival Jubilee

I think this has been a fantastic addition to Carnival Cruise Line’s food lineup. Big Chicken is a casual hot chicken sandwich and chicken tenders eatery (no added fee) in partnership with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

During my cruise, it was open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the rest of the day, and the crispy chicken and fries are delicious. At breakfast, you can get a three-cheese omelet, chicken and biscuit with chili honey glaze syrup or a sausage, egg and cheese or bacon, egg and cheese biscuit.

The rest of the day, people line up for four different kinds of sandwiches. Grilled chicken is available if you don’t want the crispy fried chicken version.

7. Street Eats

Street Eats on Carnival Jubilee

This fun food-truck concept brings three new fast-food venues to the Lido Deck on Carnival Jubilee. They all feature complimentary items, and the menu changes daily. So, you get 21 different small dishes to try throughout your weeklong cruise.

Time Fries offers craft french fries creations, such as chili cheese dog fries, Philly cheese steak fries and buffalo tater tots. You also can find some tasty chicken wings here for an added charge.

Farther down the street, it’s Steam Dream with exotic dishes such as spiced beef bao buns, pork dumplings and sesame chicken wontons.

Next up is Mad Sizzle, a skillet cook station that offers food like Pad Thai, Loma saltado and beef bulgogi.

8. Fresh Creations

Fresh Creations salads on Carnival Jubilee

Yes, you can find some healthy options on Carnival Jubilee. Fresh Creations is a make-your-own salad eatery (included in your cruise fare) located on Deck 18 in Serenity, the adults-only pool deck.

I tried it a couple times to fill my bowl with two kinds of greens and then topped with vegetables and proteins like ham, chicken or shrimp.

So, I felt great about my healthy choice as I quickly finished my salad before joining the line at Guy’s Burger Joint to complete my lunch.

9. Pacific Restaurant

Pacific Restaurant on Carnival Jubilee

This is the large main dining room with views located on two levels on Decks 6 and 7 at the aft of the ship. This is one of two main dining rooms on the ship, and the menu includes appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, everyday favorites (chicken breast and striploin steak) and vegan choices and desserts.

There also are Emeril Selects picks each night, such as an appetizer of crawfish strudel or main course of barbecue salmon. Plus, you can treat yourself to the Bonsai Sushi Ship or Steakhouse Selections (premium cuts of steak) for an upcharge.

A decadent Sea Day Brunch is offered here during days at sea, running from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Carnival offers a ton of activities. Learn about my favorite way to spend time at sea.

10. Atlantic Restaurant

This is the ship’s second main dining room. Atlantic is located on one level on Deck 6, and it’s used for afternoon tea sessions and the Thing 1 and Thing 2 Dr. Seuss Birthday Breakfast (added fee). This might be where you come if you choose a set time for dining, as well, such as early dining. The three levels of the two main restaurants are apportioned based on how many cruisers choose the Set Dining vs. Your Time Dining program.

11. Lido Marketplace Buffet

Lido Marketplace buffet on Carnival Jubilee

This is the large buffet restaurant on Deck 16. You’ll find plenty of seating variety here, and it never felt too crowded. There are multiple stations spread out smartly with the same items, so people don’t have to crowd into the same spot to get the items on the buffet.

There are fruits, desserts, breads, salads and a carving station, as well as trays filled with fish, pork, chicken, veggies and Asian stations and pasta stations.

12. Cucina del Capitano

Cucina del Capitano on Carnival Jubilee

This is the Italian restaurant on Carnival Jubilee, and you can enjoy pasta lunches here included in your cruise fare. Also, unlimited dinners are included in your cruise fare on Carnival Jubilee during its first season. There is an $8 charge on sister ships Mardi Gras and Celebration for eating dinner there more than once, and cruisers pay a standard specialty-dining cover charge of $24 on all other Carnival ships with Cucina del Capitano (as of this writing).

You can enjoy appetizers like arancini, antipasti, Nonna’s meatball or burrata. Mains include a tender porcini-rubbed beef short rib and linguine or spaghetti in your choice of carbonara, clams, meatballs, red sauce or alfredo sauces.

13. Chibang

Chibang on Carnival Jubilee

An interesting and very popular restaurant concept on the Excel Class ships. The menu features both Mexican and Chinese cuisine choices. Cruisers also can get a selection of items for lunch (included in your fare), such as burrito bowls or noodle dishes.

Dinners includes choices like sweet and sour shrimp, Kung Pao chicken, pot stickers, super loaded nachos, tacos and quesadillas. You also can pay an upcharge for Steakhouse Selections like filet mignon, lobster tail or a surf and turf.

14. Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse on Carnival Jubilee

This is the excellent steakhouse on Carnival Jubilee and a must try for meat lovers. It’s open for dinner only, and the cover charge is $49. You get a nice choice of appetizers and main courses. Starters include iced and smoked oysters, pork belly and beef carpaccio. A selection of savory soups and salads also help in the lead up to your entree. I picked the French onion soup.

For a main dish, choose from New York strip loin, the Cowboy Steak, an 18-ounce rib chop, prime ribeye or filet mignon. You also can get surf and turf, shrimp, chicken or Dover sole fish. You won’t go hungry. Most steak cuts are 14 ounces to 18 ounces.

Mac and cheese, baked potato and mashed potatoes highlight the sides. A selection of decadent desserts also is available.

15. Rudi’s Seagrill

Rudi's Seagrill on Carnival Jubilee

This seafood restaurant is on Carnival’s Excel Class ships. So, it’s on Carnival Celebration and Carnival Mardi Gras as well as Jubilee. There is a $49 cover charge to enjoy dinner at the restaurant created by cookbook author and longtime Carnival Corp. Partner Chef Rudi Sodamin.

Menu items include appetizers such as wild-caught tuna, scallops and deliciously creamy lobster mac and cheese. You can get main courses like the crab stuffed lobster tail imperial, roasted halibut and grilled coastal shrimp. Don’t like seafood? Choose the 14-0ounce N.Y. strip, free range chicken or Berkshire pork chop instead.

Dessert choices include key lime pie, white chocolate bread pudding and chocolate truffle cake.

16. Bonsai Teppanyaki

Bonsai Teppanyaki on Carnival Jubilee

Your dinner takes place at dynamic cooking stations among fellow cruisers with the chef putting on a fun show. The hibachi sizzles as your chef expertly preps your Asian cuisine. You get fried rice, stir-fried veggies and main courses with choices like filet mignon, grilled tofu, fish, shrimp and lobster.

You can make reservations for lunch ($38) or dinner ($42).

17. Bonsai Sushi

Bonsai Sushi on Carnival Jubilee

Right next door to Bonsai Teppanyaki is Bonsai Sushi, which serves lunches and dinner with an a la cart menu. I had lunch here on Carnival Jubilee and enjoyed a bowl of chicken ramen and spicy tuna roll and salad with tasty ginger carrot dressing. I saw other tables indulging on the massive Sushi Ship (serves two people for $22). You can also order bento boxes.

Bonsai offers a nice selection of Japanese beers and sake to enjoy with your meal.

18. Emeril’s Bistro 717

Emeril's Bistro 717 on Carnival Jubilee

This is a casual eatery in the Currents zone, down on Deck 6 of the ship. The bistro was created in partnership with celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse and features some of his favorite Creole creations. This menu is priced a la carte, and you can get appetizers like charbroiled eastern oysters or marinated blue crab claws. For bigger plate options, you might pick roasted chicken and andouille sausage gumbo or the fried shrimp and oyster po boy.

People rave about the beignets here, too.

19. Seafood Shack

Seafood Shack on Carnival Jubilee

Seafood lovers have plenty of options, with Emeril’s Bistro 717, of course, and the longtime favorite casual eatery Seafood Shack.

It’s located right next to Street Eats on the Lido Deck, and the menu features a la cart pricing for goodies like buckets of fried buffalo shrimp or fried clam strips. You also might like the New England clam chowder in a bread bowl, lobster roll, fish and chips or the big fried seafood platter.

20. JavaBlue Cafe

JavaBlue Cafe on Carnival Jubilee

This coffee shop is always busy early in the mornings onboard Carnival Jubilee. While you can get coffee and teas here, this is also a good spot to pick up some premium sweet treats (added fee) like cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cheesecake and chocolate-covered strawberries.

Sandwiches, wraps and salads also are available here and included in your fare.

21. Carnival Kitchen

Carnival Kitchen on Carnival Jubilee

This is a cooking class onboard Carnival Jubilee, and Carnival Kitchen offers tasting classes ($45) and complete dinners with wine ($65).

I tried this fun activity, which takes place in a large kitchen with separate stations. The chef leads the class from the front, and we whipped up Emeril’s Favorites for our session – New-New Orleans pasta and shrimp and okra gumbo.

There is a table set-up in the facility, so you can enjoy your meals with your fellow novice cooks.

Classes are offered for ice cream making, sushi rolling, tailgate parties, crafting cupcakes and Thai cuisine, among others.

22. Swirls

There are three Swirls soft-serve stations located throughout the ship. Cruisers can rarely pass by one of these spots without grabbing a cup or cone of refreshing ice cream or frozen yogurt. This treat is included in your fare.

23. Room Service

Carnival offers 24-hour room service with a la cart menu pricing. If you get a craving or just want to enjoy a casual meal in your room while watching a movie or a sunset on your balcony, you can call up and place an order.

There is a breakfast menu with some included items, and breakfast sandwiches that come at a cost. The all-day menu includes things like pizza, Greek salad, turkey wrap, wings, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, chicken tenders, chicken quesadillas and desserts such as chocolate cake, cheesecake, fudge brownie and giant chocolate chunk cookies.
